If you want to bring your art to the next level, make money doing what you love, and squeeze every last ounce of awesomeness out of life, then this is the place for you!
This blog is all about changing your life – and the world – through creativity, life design and entrepreneurship, even if you have no idea where to start. As I experiment with getting what I want out of my own art, life and business, I report my insights back to you.
About Allison Koberstein
Allison is an illustrator and life designer. She first began making money with her art when she was fourteen by selling drawings of cute girls, animals and monsters to strangers on the Internet. Ever plotting to redraw the world in her image, Allison cares about things like doing what she loves, eating low on the food chain, leveraging the Internet for independent learning and entrepreneurship, and the social responsibility of storytellers. To name a few.
On this blog, Allison posts her art, daily adventures and epiphanies. She tends to write about aesthetics, creativity, life design, technophilia, education and solopreneurship while incorporating tons of geek-culture references and wearing pink sparkly things. Her physical body is in Vancouver.
Currently, she:
- Runs her creative service business offering drawing-based design (illustration, character design, comics, concept art, animation, you name it!)
- Is working with Kibooco Interactive to develop characters, art and interactive stories for their new platform.
- Is developing a 19 page comic about a Canadian heroine for an anthology
- Is completing a BA in Interactive Arts and Technology.
- Has infinite money (first log)
- Sometimes posts free things for you like unicorn portal stickers
