‘Backpack’ has been on my list of things to upgrade for a while now, since I’ve been dissatisfied with my current ones. One of them is huge, heavy, and murky green (blah), and the other is an obvious fake of a certain brand and not exactly my colour either. Also, one of the straps has all but ripped off. I think it’s worth it to have one that you like if you’re wearing it to school every day.

So I have been popping into the thrift store every couple weeks for a while now hoping something would turn up, and for a long time nothing did, but then all of a sudden there were these!!

Okay, so I couldn’t decide and got both, but at least I didn’t buy four. (I passed up the Batman and Robin one and also a black one with rainbow zipper pulls.)

I probably wouldn’t have gotten both if I didn’t have infinite money. I rationalized that if one of them didn’t work out for some reason, I could always just donate it back.

I got this one because it’s so CUTE. It’s pink. It has a diagonal strap. It looks like something a pokémon trainer might carry items in. The fold over flap reminds me of a randoseru. I’m pleased.

Next:

I got this one because it was high quality, the straps are comfortable and it is unremarkable enough that it will let me be under the radar when I need to. Also, it’s light and the bright blue colour is pretty. And side pockets. Very practical.

You can tell just by touching the fabric that it will probably last a long time, and the zippers are like butter. Mmmmmmm. <3

By the way, this is my favourite outfit right now!
